The Milwaukee Brewers should feel real good about where they stand right now. Milwaukee's pitching staff has been one of the worse in the National League and just stand 8.5 Games out of first place. The Brewers recently took two out of three games from the Angels and actually have been playing a little better. Pitching continues to be a problem, but it is getting better. Ken Macha is doing a much better job as well.
If Milwaukee can just hold on and continue to battle they may just have a chance. Pitching will be the key. They have brought up many new pitchers and it will take time for them to gel with the team. Pitching though will be the key for Milwaukee. Trevor Hoffman is another guy the Brewers need to get back on track as well. Every game will be important from this point on.

Brewers Need To Make A Change In The Dugout
Well the Milwaukee Brewers continued their free fall with another loss which has become an everyday occurrence it seems. The streak stands at 9 games and it is time for a change in the dugout. Ken Macha has been given more than enough time to get the Brewers untracked. Last year the Brewers were just a .500 ball club and this year they are worse.
The Brewers were suppose to be better this year as they added pitching, but the opposite has been true. The pitching has been horrible and it starts with the manager. Management cannot fire the whole team so making a change at manager is all that is left. Last year there was some rumblings about Ken Macha and with his lack of success maybe management should have listen. If the Brewers do get rid of Macha hiring Willie Randolph should be something they consider. He is a good manager and he cannot do any worse than what we have right now. Maybe the Brewers need a change. The direction they are going in right now is unacceptable.
